Mt. View Redgie was slow to begin.
Milana Rose, Irving, Cinderella Storm and Uncle Fester collided soon after the start; checking Irving and Cinderella Storm. Latte and Uncle Fester collided on the first turn; checking Cinderella Storm; severely checking Queen Lisa, Milana Rose and Irving; causing Latte to fall.
Latte underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg pencil/whip and lumbo-sacral injuries. A five day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Mt. View Redgie - the winner of the event.
