Steward's Report
Blue Entourage and Reiko Shock were slow to begin.
Chasing Love marred Quinetta Bale approaching the winning post.
Chasing Love underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have PEDS and a left wrist sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Richard Boehm, the kennel representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Chasing Love was charged with marring. Mr. Boehm pleaded not guilty to the charge, Chasing Love was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2), GAR 72 and 74(1)(a) (PEDS) before any future nomination will be accepted.
