All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government's mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue. 

Deeming Rate was quick to begin.  Claretown Ryan was slow to begin.

Claretown Ryan checked off Jedi Jack approaching the first turn.  Master Logan checked off Demming Rate approaching the first turn.  Inky's Fireball and Claretown Ryan collided on the first turn checking Inky's Fireball.  Inky's Fireball checked off Fabriola Yanis entering the home straight.

A post-race blood sample was taken from He's For Us - winner of the event.  

Xanthi Bale – New declared weight of 27.7 kg, last raced at 26.5 kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Texicali Master.

Mr. Fitty and Miss Manager were quick to begin.

Downton Ivy and Jacquinot Lady collided soon after the start.  Letterfrack Lady, Jacquinot Jet and Xanthi Bale collided approaching the first turn severely checking Jacquinot Jet, subsequently checking Downton Ivy.  Texicali Master and Letterfrack Lady collided on the first turn severely checking Texicali Master. 

Jacquinot Jet – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Miss Manager - winner of the event. 

Belle Yaraki and Knight's Cross were slow to begin.

Soho Expresso, Ripper Roxy and Lyrical Dad collided soon after the start causing Ripper Roxy to falter, pull up and take no further part. Lyrical Dad turned it's head outwards approaching the first turn.  Knight's Cross checked off Inga Assalt entering the home straight.  Lyrical Dad turned its head outwards in the home straight.  

Soho Expresso underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Davison regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Davison, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Ripper Roxy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lyrical Dad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have both left and right triangle and hip injuries.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Jack Campbell, the kennel representative of Lyrical Dad regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn and again in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Lyrical Dad was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Lyrical Dad was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blue Entourage and Reiko Shock were slow to begin.

Chasing Love marred Quinetta Bale approaching the winning post.

Chasing Love underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have PEDS and a left wrist sprain.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Richard Boehm, the kennel representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Chasing Love was charged with marring.  Mr. Boehm pleaded not guilty to the charge, Chasing Love was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2), GAR 72 and 74(1)(a) (PEDS) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Good Girl Gracie was quick to begin.  What's The Code was slow to begin.

Avery Charm and Go Patch Go collided on the first turn.  What's The Code and Go Patch Go collided on the home turn severely checking What's The Code.

What's The Code underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left calf.  No stand down period was imposed. 

Two Up Tommy was quick to begin.

Pete Cabang raced wide in the home straight. 

Our Girl Bailee, Finch and Misty Rainbow were quick to begin.  Aston Xavier was slow to begin.

Aston Xavier and Brindle Fire collided approaching the first turn.  Cindy Fuso checked off Finch on the first turn checking Our Girl Bailee.  Aston Xavier checked off Our Girl Bailee on the home turn.  Indy Korie and Finch collided several times in the home straight.

Our Shout was quick to begin.  Coco Lilly was slow to begin.

Lenny's Jagger and Elusive Fly collided soon after the start and several times approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Rothwell Nanjo checked off Our Shout on the home turn. 

Saint Phoenix checked off Bakali George approaching the first turn.  Bakali George and Bell Park Dragon collided on the first turn.  Bakali George checked off Aston Shadow on the home turn.  Bell Park Dragon checked off Saint Phoenix entering the home straight.  Bakali George galloped on Aston Dynasty approaching the winning post, checking Aston Dynasty.

A sample was taken from Joyous Sensation upon arrival at the course.

Black Phoenix was quick to begin.  Reiko Bingle was slow to begin.  

Defiance and Jimmy Cheesecake collided approaching the first turn.  Black Phoenix and Siala Giblet collided approaching the first turn.  Joyous Sensation and Defiance collided on the first turn causing Defiance to fall.  

Defiance underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

The start of this event was delayed approximately 5 minutes as the track required some remedial work. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Midnight Force.

Broken Boots was quick to begin.  Southwood Ace and Midnight Force were slow to begin.

Evident, Nyssa's Girl, Broken Boots and Southwood Ace collided approaching the first turn causing Broken Boots to fall, checking Evident, and severely checking Nyssa's Girl and Southwood Ace. Broken Boots completed the event.

Broken Boots underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Southwood Ace underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Parasite and Once A King were quick to begin.  King Brown was slow to begin.

Parasite and Roxy Rum Pumper collided approaching the first turn.  Roxy Rum Pumper and Bissaka Spider collided approaching the first turn severely checking Bissaka Spider and Parasite.  Parasite checked off Bissaka Spider on the first turn.  King Brown and Roxy Rum Pumper collided approaching the winning post.  Parasite raced wide in the home straight.

Parasite underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
