Frothy's Jett checked off Kick It Home soon after the start.
Frothy's Jett underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Ninetymile Nash - the winner of the event.
Mr G. Turnbull was fined $200.00 pursuant to GAR 86(o) with negligence after the greyhound, Ninetymile Nash was paraded in an incorrect race rug (No 3) which was subsequently replaced with its correct rug (No 8) before leaving the parade area. The BGRC Parade Official and the GRIU official were reminded of their responsibilities to ensure that greyhounds are correctly rugged at all times.
