A pre-race sample was taken from Siren Head.
She's Serious was quick to begin. Joyous Venture was slow to begin.
Joyous Venture and Nagambie Bale collided approaching the first turn severley checking Nagambie Bale. Rower's Rule raced wide on the home turn and throughout the remainder of the event. Pyrenees Alpha raced wide in the home straight.
Rower's Rule underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Nagambie Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10. Nagambie Bale was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
