Steward's Report
All persons attending today wore facemasks indoors, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Mick The Magpie – Late scratching at 2.31pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
King Kenny was quick to begin. Jacquinot Jet and Honest Thief were slow to begin.
Jacquinot Jet slipped at box rise. Chasing Chops and Liverpool Street collided soon after the start. Liverpool Street checked off Chasing Chops approaching the first turn. Chasing Chops and Pyrenees Prada raced wide approaching the home turn. Jacquinot Jet faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground.
Jacquinot Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh and left triangles injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
