Mick The Magpie – Late scratching at 2.31pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left calf injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

King Kenny was quick to begin.  Jacquinot Jet and Honest Thief were slow to begin.

Jacquinot Jet slipped at box rise. Chasing Chops and Liverpool Street collided soon after the start.  Liverpool Street checked off Chasing Chops approaching the first turn.  Chasing Chops and Pyrenees Prada raced wide approaching the home turn.  Jacquinot Jet faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground.

Jacquinot Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh and left triangles injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Nana Pat was quick to begin. La Blonde was very slow to begin (4 lengths).

Laid Back Larry and Lily The Thief collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Laid Back Larry and Nana Pat collided on the first turn checking Nana Pat which lost ground.

Deeming Rate was quick to begin.  Devilish John and Chasing The Edge were slow to begin.

Tinker Murphy and Ranger Mick collided soon after the start.  Inky's Fireball and Double Top collided approaching the first turn.  Tinker Murphy and Lap To Far collided on the first turn.  Tinker Murphy, Double Top and Inky's Fireball collided on the first turn checking Tinker Murphy and Inky's Fireball, causing Tinker Murphy, Inky's Fireball and Devilish John to collide severely checking Tinker Murphy and Devilish John, Tinker Murphy fell as a result: checking Chasing The Edge.  

Tinker Murphy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Devilish John underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A 5 day stan down period was imposed.

Cambria Bale and King Brown collided soon after the start.  King Brown checked off Champ Duran on the first turn causing King Brown and Cambria Bale to collide.  Jessie's Brew and Champ Durna collided approaching the home turn. 

Ice Star, Red Taltarni and Rocky Strike were quick to begin.

Red Taltarni and Mayfair Fantasy collided approaching the first turn.  Ice Star and Mayfair Fantasy collided approaching the first turn.  Red Taltarni and Name Me Nelly collided on the first turn checking Who Is Arandt and Red Taltarni, Red Taltarni lost ground as a result.  Name Me Nelly and Tinker Count collided approaching the home turn.
