Brizo and Seabrook Baker collided soon after the start. Trending Power and Cosmetic Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Cosmetic Rose and Seabrook Baker. Blackpool Cheeky and Chasing Love collided approaching the home turn. Brizo proceeded to lose ground from approaching the home turn.
Brizo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
