Steward's Report
Caroline was quick to begin.
Aston Ziebell was slow to begin.
Money Owes and Untapped Ability collided soon after the start. Money Owes and Ivy Isobel collided approaching the first turn. Money Owes and Caroline collided on the first turn. Valeska Bale, Untapped Ability and Nikoli Bale collided on the first turn checking Untapped Ability and Nikoli Bale. Money Owes visibly eased approaching the winning post and turned its head outwards towards Caroline.
Money Owes underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind pencil/whip injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Gregory Berry regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Money Owes was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Money Owes was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Money Owes - the winner of the event.
