All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Vermont Bale was quick to begin.

Miracle Belle and Lektra Sarah collided approaching the first turn. Miracle Belle, Lektra Sarah, Candlelight Jazz, Air Race Ace and Moon's Are Light collided on the first turn checking Tiggerlong Rheve, Candlelight Jazz and Air Race Ace. Tiggerlong Rheve checked off Air Race Ace approaching the home turn causing Tiggerlong Rheve and Candlelight Jazz to race wide. Miracle Belle and Air Race Ace collided entering the home straight.

Valencia Bale, Winry Bale and Curnow's Blues were quick to begin.

Aston Simpkin and King Crow were slow to begin.

Subtle Art, Werina Express and Aston Ulysses were quick to begin.

Soda Titan and Manila Dusk collided on the first turn checking Manila Dusk and Weblec Blazer causing Weblec Blazer to stumble, race wide and lose ground. Werina Express tired in the home straight.

Werina Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr Jack Strutt, the representative of Werina Express regarding the greyhounds peformance in home straight.  In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Strutt to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Werina Express in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Representative Mr J Strutt reported to stewards that upon examination the greyhound Werina Express presented no injury.

Caroline was quick to begin.

Aston Ziebell was slow to begin.

Money Owes and Untapped Ability collided soon after the start. Money Owes and Ivy Isobel collided approaching the first turn. Money Owes and Caroline collided on the first turn. Valeska Bale, Untapped Ability and Nikoli Bale collided on the first turn checking Untapped Ability and Nikoli Bale. Money Owes visibly eased approaching the winning post and turned its head outwards towards Caroline.

Money Owes underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind pencil/whip injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Gregory Berry regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Money Owes was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Berry pleaded guilty to the charge, Money Owes was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

This race was delayed approximately 1 minute due to operational issues.

Aston Profit, Daniel Avocado and Spring Candice collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Candice causing Spring Bjorn and Spring Candice to collide. Daniel Avocado and Aston Profit collided on the first turn checking Aston Profit. Spring Bjorn and Parlo Bale collided approaching the home turn. Orson Ruby and Daniel Avocado collided approaching the home turn.
