Mepunga Allie – Late scratching at 12:14 pm when Mr Garry Webb reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Low Planes and Jetta's Shout collided soon after the start, checking Low Planes. Jetta's Shout checked off Charmed on the first turn. Kraken Doll, Aston Lavinia and Low Planes collided entering the back straight; checking Kraken Doll and Aston Lavinia. Low Planes checked off Irene's A Star approaching the home turn.
