Worldwide was slow to begin.

Into The Kitchen and Worldwide collided soon after the start.  My Annabelle, Whiz Out and Cosmetic Rose collided soon after the start.  Sarah Beauty, My Annabelle, Cosmetic Rose and Elusive Bec collided at the 250m mark.  Into The Kitchen, Worldwide and Whiz Out collided at the 250m mark checking Worldwide.  Into The Kitchen and Cosmetic Rose collided at the 175m mark.  Sarah Beauty and Whiz Out collided at the 125m mark.  Worldwide marred Flamin' Sam from the 50m mark to approaching the winning post.

Worldwide underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Tony Cortese, the representative of Worldwide regarding the greyhound’s racing manners from the 50m mark to approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Worldwide was charged with marring.  Mr Cortese pleaded guilty to the charge, Worldwide was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Flamin' Sam - the winner of the event.

Bold Voyager checked off Pat's Me Mum at the 150m mark.  Pat's Me Mum crossed out at the 100m mark.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1.5 minutes due to operational procedures in the kennelling area.

Darnum Dozer and What's His Caper collided soon after the start checking Darnum Dozer.  Toyed and Double Up collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Darnum Dozer, Double Up and Melanistic collided approaching the winning post.

Magic Mark was slow to begin.

Baby Pechey checked off Chasing Honey at the 300m mark.  Spring Roll, Structure and Grumpy Al collided at the 300m mark.  Spring Roll and Structure collided at the 250m mark.  Structure checked off Spring Roll at the 200m mark.  Spring Roll and Grumpy Al collided at the 100m mark.

Swarm and Kraken Tyson collided soon after the start.  Kraken Tyson, Swarm and You Nugget collided from the 300m mark to the 200m mark checking Swarm.  Swarm checked off Kraken Tyson at the 150m mark.  Kraken Tyson and You Nugget collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark and again at the 50m mark.
