Steward's Report
Reiko Bingle – Late scratching at 3.21 pm under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted.
Violet Rose was quick to begin. Reiko Langer was slow to begin.
Reiko Langer and Helmet Giblet collided soon after the start. Storm Raptor and Zurial Bale collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Storm Raptor and Reiko Langer collided on the first turn severely checking Storm Raptor which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Violet Rose and Helmet Giblet collided on the home turn.
