All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Coleman, the trainer of Reiko Shock as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards.  The comments of Ms. Coleman were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.

Reiko Bingle – Late scratching at 3.21 pm under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rahela Bale, Little Wilma and On Pursuit were quick to begin. Bobby Reiko was slow to begin.

Kanga Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury and a cervico- thoracic injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Lloyd regarding the racing manners of Kanga Lights in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Lloyd, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Clean Slate.

Currawong, Don't Argue Love and Mississippi Mud collided soon after the start. Doughnut and Don't Argue Love collided on the first turn. Ziems Park Girl and Clean Slate collided on the home turn causing Ziems Park Girl to race wide.
