Steward's Report
Kanga Lights was quick to begin. Burning Express and Aston Cinnamon were slow to begin.
Mr. Lonely and Aston Cinnamon collided approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Tys shifted out and raced wide on the home turn. Table Top and Mr. Lonely collided on the home turn. Barbados Dream and Aston Cinnamon collided on the home turn. Crackerjack Tys and Table Top collided in the home straight. Kanga Lights raced ungenerous in the home straight.
Kanga Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury and a cervico- thoracic injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Lloyd regarding the racing manners of Kanga Lights in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Lloyd, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
