All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds. 

Cinderella Storm was quick to begin.

Cream On First and Uncle Fester collided soon after the start checking Cream On First. She's The One and Uncle Fester collided approaching the first turn checking She's The One. Cinderella Storm and Uncle Fester collided on the first turn. She's The One and Rebel Bowie collided approaching the home turn. Cooler Than Doc marred Cream On First entering the home straight and again several times in the home straight. Uncle Fester visisbly eased in the home straight and collided with Cooler Than Doc.

Cinderella Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the Trainer's request and was found to have a laceration to the left hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Cooler Than Doc underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey and right triangle muscles.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Raymond Mahony, the Trainer of Cooler Than Doc regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Cooler Than Doc was charged with marring.  Mr. Mahony pleaded guilty to the charge, Cooler Than Doc was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Uncle Fester underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Wade Green, the Trainer of Uncle Fester regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Uncle Fester was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Green pleaded guilty to the charge, Uncle Fester was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Arby's Chloe  – Late scratching at 9:58am due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr B. Weis informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr. Weis that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Flying Torpedo with Trainer Mr J.Hardy and noted his comments.

A pre-race sample was taken from La Spezia.

Stylish Tyrone was slow to begin.

La Spezia, Blackpool Homer, Joffa's Monaro, Aviana Bale and Flying Torpedo collided soon after the start. La Spezia and Flying Torpedo collided approaching the first turn. Blackpool Homer checked off Up There Red on the first turn. La Spezia raced wide on the first turn and visibly eased, checking Flying Torpedo. Up There Red and La Spezia collided approaching the home turn.

Up There Red underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

La Spezia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative, Mr Robert Walsh, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), La Spezia was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Walsh pleaded guilty to the charge, La Spezia was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Flying Torpedo underwent a post-race veterinary examination  - no apparent injury was reported.

Al's Keeper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey and left deltoid muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Rowchester Jan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Robert Walsh regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Rowchester Jan was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Walsh pleaded guilty to the charge, Rowchester Jan was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Oseye Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Oseye Bale was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a spike wound to the back left thigh, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mrs Tammy Kennedy-Harris regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Oseye Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs. Kennedy-Harris pleaded guilty to the charge, Oseye Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Little Zoe - the winner of the event.

Zipping Buzz and Saniyah Bale collided approaching the first turn. Chasing Summer and Tinker Gypsy collided on the first turn checking Chasing Summer and Patricia Mary. Patricia Mary and Tinker Gypsy collided approaching the home turn. Only Dream and Sound The Bugle collided in the home straight. Zipping Buzz checked off Saniyah Bale in the home straight. 

Zipping Buzz underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to the greyhound falling after the winning post. Zipping Buzz was found to have a right trapezius muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Saniyah Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Luke Harris regarding the racing manners of Saniyah Bale in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Harris, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Saniyah Bale - the winner of the event.

Worms Are Biting – Late scratching at  10:00am due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr S. Blacksell informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr. Blacksell that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.  The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

Myola Knight, Rockstar Harley and Chanko Girl collided approaching the first turn. Benefit Summary, Rockstar Harley and Chanko Girl collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Chanko Girl and Myola Knight. Ship Of Fools and Benefit Summary collided approaching the home turn checking Benefit Summary. 

Stewards spoke to Mr David Attard, the Handler of Ship Of Fools and issued him with a warning after he failed to follow the starters orders GAR 51.

Warrior Jake was slow to begin.

Joffa's Princess and Kamara Bale collided soon after the start. Friesian Flyer and Joffa's Princess collided on the first turn checking Friesian Flyer and Battling Baz. Mick's Kimmy and Battling Baz collided on the home turn.

Rowchester Sugar and Ferocious Pedro collided soon after the start. Line Stepper and Al's Draw Four collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Rowchester Sugar and Line Stepper collided on the first turn. Al's Draw Four and Yussuf Bale collided on the first turn. Yussuf Bale and Rowchester Sugar collided on the home turn severely checking Rowchester Sugar. Destroy We Said and Mepunga Hayles collided in the home straight.

Rowchester Sugar underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Line Stepper - the winner of the event.

Tigers Nineteen and Jaggered collided soon after the start. Rower's Rule clipped the heels of Nova's Girl approaching the first turn checking Rower's Rule.  Rockstar Haynes, Jaggered and Tigers Nineteen collided approaching the first turn. Molly Tessa, Tigers Nineteen and Nova's Girl colldied on the first turn checking Nova's Girl and Tigers Nineteen. 

Bourne Blue – Late scratching at 4:16pm on Sunday 11 July 2021 when Trainer Mr K. Gavin reported the greyhound to have a right monkey muscle injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Peter Coin, Our Frankie and Sophie collided soon after the start checking Sophie. Millie's Wonder, Our Frankie, Chasing Love and Peter Coin collided approahcing the first turn. Sheryn's Dream, Peter Coin, Our Frankie, Millie's Wonder, Sophie and Naha collided on the first turn checking Sophie, Naha and Sheryn's Dream. Chasing Love and Millie's Wonder collided approaching the home turn. Peter Coin and Our Frankie collided on the home turn and again several times in the home straight. 

Black Heel High and Pull Shot collided aoon after the start. Josie's Call, Wilbur Deeds and Keybow Sally collided approaching the first turn. Black Heel High, Pull Shot and Myola Dawn collided on the first turn checking Pull Shot. Josie's Call, Wilbur Deeds and Keybow Sally collided on the first turn checking Keybow Sally. Josie's Call and Keybow Sally collided approaching the home turn. Black Heel High raced wide entering the home straight. 

I'm A Burner, Galaxy Queen and Inga Riley collided on the first turn checking Inga Riley. Galaxy Queen and Ed Deeds collided on the first turn checking Ed Deeds which collided with Dodgy Digger. Inga Riley and Ed Deeds collided in the home straight.

Aston Cleo was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
