Movie Scene was quick to begin. Elswyk Storm and Saint Bluey collided soon after the start checkin Saint Bluey. Dundee Zircon and Saint Bluey collided on the home turn. Aussie Onyx and Party Doll collided on the home turn. Dundee Zircon, Aussie Onyx and Saint Bluey collided in the home straight.
Dundee Zircon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail casing on the right foot and an abrasion on the right front leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head on vision of the back straight for this event.
