Weeona Evie was quick to begin.  Mini Higgins, Weeona Evie, Lead The Way, Fat Cracker and Sarah Beauty collided on the first turn checking Mini Higgins and Lead The Way, severely checking Weeona Evie which lost ground as a result.  Mini Higgins and Sarah Beauty raced wide in the home straight.

Weeona Evie underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right shin.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sicilian was slow to begin.  Zinfandel Dusty raced wide in the back straight causing Genial Jed to check off Zinfandel Dusty.  Sicilian contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Genial Jed and Eye Spy Skye collided on the first turn severely checking Eye Spy Skye.  Zinfandel Dusty and Genial Jed collided several times from entering the home straight to approaching the winning post.

Sicilian underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left elbow.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dundee Zircon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail casing on the right foot and an abrasion on the right front leg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Truss, Dundee Candy, Rock The Sky and Astro Naughton collided on the first turn checking Truss, Rock The Sky and Astro Naughton.  Callum’s Capers, Dundee Candy and Red Nangana collided approaching the home turn severely checking Dundee Candy which lost considerable ground.  Rock The Sky and Red Nangana collided on the home turn.

Dundee Candy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right sesamoid and right pencil muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Cool Stone underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. L. Dalziel regarding the racing manners of Cool Stone in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms. Dalziel, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Mr. P. Derubeis requested an early race endorsement for Feel The Thunder.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the On-Track Veterinarian. Feel The Thunder will compete in early races until further notice.

Shot Gun Pistol and Stanley Boy collided on the first turn checking Stanley Boy.  Fourth Dimention was checked off Shot Gun Pistol approaching the home turn.  Feel The Thunder, My Gem and Eilish’s Dream raced wide in the home straight.
