Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Mustang Molly, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Pot The Black and Mustang Molly collided soon after the start checking Mustang Molly. Pot The Black visibly eased on the home turn. Pot The Black and Inside Out collided on the home turn checking Pot The Black, Inside Out and Back Pat. Mustang Molly checked off Champ Duran on the home turn.
Pot The Black underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hock and left groin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Terry Meyer regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Pot The Black was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Meyer pleaded guilty to the charge, Pot The Black was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
