The start of this event was a manual hand start.
Basmati checked off Maggie Pie approaching the first turn. Rush Out galloped on Impingement approaching the home turn. Annabelle Rocks and Teddy Logan collided approaching the home turn checking Annabelle Rocks and Rev Up Freddy. Rush Out and Impingement collided on the home turn severely checking Rush Out, Maggie Pie and Basmati.
Rush Out underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to both back thighs and feet. No stand down period was imposed.
Max Anonymous underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have bruising/contusion to the left hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Rev Up Freddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a laceration to the to the right leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
