Steward's Report
All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Tyson’s Typhoon was quick to begin. Bush Bandit was slow to begin. Tyson’s Typhoon crossed to the rail soon after the start causing Moonlight Kiss, Indian File, Devante and Splash Of Light to collide checking Devante which lost ground. Indian File and Splash Of Light collided approaching the first turn. Devante and Bush Bandit collided on the first turn. Keep It Sassy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Moonlight Kiss and Tyson’s Typhoon. Devante checked off Bush Bandit approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Devante underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
