Bucked Head and Nana Pat were slow to begin.
Sassy Boo and Princess Peggy collided soon after the start. She's The One and Sassy Boo collided several times from the 250m mark to the 100m mark. Nana Pat and Princess Peggy collided several times at the 100m mark and again at the 50m mark. She's The One checked off Sassy Boo at the 50m mark.
She's The one underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Laurie Mallia regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 100m mark. After hearing evidence from Mr. Mallia, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 100m mark.
Nana Pat – issued a warning for boxing manners in accordance with GAR 52.
