A pre-race sample was taken from Low Planes.
Zipping Malibu was quick to begin. Zipping Slade was slow to begin.
Zipping Slade checked off Ultimate Mayhem on the first turn. Rocky Strike and Ultimate Mayhem collided on the first turn checking Rocky Strike. Zipping Malibu and Litigator collided on the home turn checking Zipping Malibu. Siala Giblet and Litigator collided in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Ploeger regarding the undue delay in boxing Zipping Malibu in this event. A warning was issued to Mr. Ploeger pursuant to GAR 51(9).
Due to a technial issue, the photo finish was unavailable for this event.
The times and margins that were originally issued for this race were incorrect which effected the Tier 3 status of several greyhounds incorrectly. In rectifying the issue, the margins of the greyhounds were unable to be populated in the correct form, due to IT issues. The margins were 5.75, 1.75, head, head, nose, 0.25 & 4.25.
