Steward's Report
Grand Giveaway and Megasonic were quick to begin. Grand Warrior was slow to begin.
Solar Tiny and Cawbourne Move collided soon after the start, checking Bourne Maximum. Joe Baker and Cawbourne Move collided on the first turn, checking Joe Baker. Bourne Maximum faltered on the first turn and lost ground.
Solar Tiny underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg deltoid muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Victor Millington, the trainer of Solar Tiny regarding its performance in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Solar Tiny must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Bourne Maximum underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
