Steward's Report
All persons attending today, checked-in and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected' by the stewards prior to race 1. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 32.2 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.8 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Crymelon Libby and Be Good Goldie were quick to begin. Brandeen Jerry was slow to begin. Mega Tate was very slow to begin (3L).
Nifty Bale, Crymelon Libby and Be Good Goldie. collided soon after the start checking Nifty Bale and Be Good Goldie. Crymelon Libby and Orange Ruffy collided approaching the first turn. Mega Tate checked off Be Good Goldie entering the home straight.
