Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from How's It Alice.
Breakaway Benji, Armstrong Bobby and Darnum Dozer collided approaching the first turn severely checking Darnum Dozer. How's It Alice checked off Go Nera on the home turn. Armstrong Bobby checked off Breakaway Benji entering the home straight. Darnum Dozer pulled up and faulted in the home straight. Go Nera and High Priority collided several times approaching the winning post. Lightning Fury and Breakaway Benji raced wide in the home straight.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.
Darnum Dozer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hindleg hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
