There was no back straight head on vision for this event.

Sore Loser and Paris Designer collided approaching the first turn. Yield and Paris Designer collided on the first turn checking Paris Designer. Noble Stone and Going To Town collided on the first turn checking Going To Town. Going To Town crossed in, in the home straight checking Targod Shirley. Alvin Rose and Yield collided approaching the winning post.
Paris Designer underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a left groin injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
