Steward's Report
The starter for this event was reminded of her responsibilities after she momentarily failed to activate the green light once the greyhounds were boxed.
Bissaka Spider and Pablo's Star were quick to begin.
Big Bash Jess and Seabrook Baker collided soon after the start. Blue Raspberry and Drain The Swamp collided soon after the start. Seabrook Baker, Big Bash Jess and Seabrook Short collided approaching the first turn; checking Big Bash Jess and Seabrook Short. Jack's Rose contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Blue Raspberry checked off Pablo's Star on the first turn. Bissaka Spider checked off Seabrook Baker on the first turn. Seabrook Short raced wide in the home straight.
Jack's Rose underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left foreleg elbow. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
