All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

A pre-race sample was taken from Master Bohanon.

Dash Of Pepper was quick to begin.

Winnington Bale and Coalville Girl collided soon after the start.  Rich Hips and Coalville Girl collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Pollard Flyer checked off Dash Of Pepper on the first turn.  Rich Hips and Pollard Flyer collided on the home turn and in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Queen Of Shiraz, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Going To Town was quick to begin.  Queen Of Shiraz was slow to begin.

Yamasaki Bale and Opal Gem collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Opal Gem brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Yamasaki Bale and Coalville Flyer collided in the home straight checking Yamasaki Bale.

A pre-race sample was taken from Gunyah.

Loyal Gem was quick to begin.  Clear Girl was slow to begin.

Street of Dreams crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Loyal Gem and Gunyah.  Street Of Dreams and Lady Jayde collided on the first turn.  Clear Girl checked off Lady Jayde on the first turn.

Gunyah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind triangle muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Kennel Attendant Ms. A. Delaney did  no act in any official capacity that may in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dr. Buzz.

Isabella Spolly, Dr. Renzo and Mac Attack collided soon after the start.  Pool Dancer faltered in the back straight and subsequently tailed off.  Dr. Renzo crossed out on the first turn and collided with Mac Attack checking Mac Attack.  My Seanna and Isabella Spolly collided on the first turn.  Dr. Buzz and Isabella Spolly collided approaching the home turn checking Dr. Buzz.  Dr. Buzz, Isabella Spolly and Fearless Max collided on the home turn.  Mac Attack raced wide on the home turn.

Pool Dancer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind pencil and triangle muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track approaching the first turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Stay At Home - Late scratching at 11.34am when trainer Mr. C. Johannsen reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Riverbank Smokey and Ironclad were quick to begin.

Magical Mavis brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Aston Nino and Kraken Skye collided on the first turn checking Aston Nino, Kraken Skye, Dr. Danika and Diesel Runner.  Magical Mavis and Diesel Runner collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Riverbank Smokey and Ironclad collided approaching the home turn checking Ironclad.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bigsy.

Aston Edwin was slow to begin.

Cashton Bale and Bigsy collided on the first turn.  Crowdza Blest and Bigsy collided entering the back straight checking Crowdza Blest severely checking Bigsy.  Tarlee and She Wiggles collided on the second turn checking She Wiggles.  Crowdza Blest and She Wiggles collided approaching the home turn. Tarlee and Cashton Bale collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from My Comet.

Bowie was slow to begin.

My Comet and Queen Kathleen collided on the first turn checking Queen Kathleen.  My Comet checked off Bernadette on the first turn.  Queen Kathleen and Bernadette collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Omega Dodge.

Ha Ha Magoo was slow to begin.

Inuka checked off Lavish Diamond on the first turn.  Lavish Diamond and Dr. Madison collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  State The Facts and Ha Ha Magoo collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  State The Facts and Dr. Madison collided several times in the home straight causing State The Facts to stumble checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Chief Gem.

Vesna Spolly was quick to begin.

Chief Gem and Billy Bob Jordan collided soon after the start.  Chief Gem and Aussie Legend collided several times on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Billy Bob Jordan, Vesna Spolly and Jack's Cracker collided on the first turn.  Vesna Spolly galloped on Yaza on the first turn.  Yaza and Vesna Spolly collided approaching the home turn.  Billy Bob Jordan crossed out in the home straight and collided with Yaza checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from McLinden.

Parumba Rebel, Colonel Diesel and Run Robyn Run collided approaching the first turn severely checking Colonel Diesel.  Colonel Diesel checked off Willow Ash on the first turn.  Airly Pablo and Run Robyn Run collided entering the home straight severely checking Run Robyn Run.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nunniong Bear.

Matilda Flyer was quick to begin.  Nunniong Bear went up with the lids at boxrise and was slow to begin.

Monster Pearl checked off Buster Giblet on the first turn.  Lara's Love crossed out entering the home straight and collided with Monster Pearl.

A pre-race sample was taken from Diamond Cartel.

Manila Shine and Count Me In were slow to begin.

Tall Poppies checked off Diamond Cartel soon after the start.  Manila Shine galloped on King Of All on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  King Of All checked off Diamond Cartel on the first turn.  Diamond Cartel checked off King Of All entering the home straight.  High Priority checked off Why Not Kez entering the home straight.  Tall Poppies turned it's head inwards and visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Tall Poppies underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Ms Cheryle Ragen, the trainer of Tall Poppies regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1)  Tall Poppies was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Ms. Ragen pleaded guilty to the charge, Tall Poppies was found guilty and suspended for 90 days at all Tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
