All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

She’s For Real was quick to begin.  Riverdale Poppy, Urbana Bale and Rock Singer were slow to begin.  Torquay Bale and She’s For Real collided approaching the first turn checking She’s For Real. No Onion Thanks and Rock Singer collided on the first turn.  She’s For Real checked off No Onion Thanks approaching the home turn.  Urbana Bale, Rock Singer and Riverdale Poppy collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds.  She’s For Real and No Onion Thanks collided approaching the winning post.

Post-race samples were taken from Torquay Bale (1st) and She’s For Real (2nd). 

Baffling and Exit Sign were quick to begin.  Sheriff Demon was slow to begin.  Miss Mikado crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Exit Sign.  Flick’s Dilemma checked off Chasing The High on the first turn.  Exit Sign turned its head inwards and marred Sheriff Demon approaching the winning post.

Exit Sign underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hamstring.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Nathan Hunt, the trainer of Exit Sign regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Exit Sign was charged with marring.  Mr. Hunt pleaded guilty to the charge, Exit Sign was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Alira Gem was quick to begin. Alira Gem turned its head outwards soon after the start. Striker Jack galloped on Alira Gem approaching the first turn checking Alira Gem.

Alira Gem underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Alira Gem was found to have an injury to both hocks.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Nathan Hunt regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Alira Gem was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Hunt pleaded guilty to the charge, Alira Gem was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cruickshank checked off Miss Belle on the first turn and collided with Blue Cherry Miss; checking Electro Guru.

Snow Onyx, Rock Me Mama and Mega Heist collided on the first turn.  Rock Me Mama and Mega Heist collided approaching the home turn.  Krakatoa, Rock Me Mama and Kempton Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Who Is Arandt was slow to begin.  Chase The Magic and Rainbow City collided soon after the start checking Rainbow City.  Rainbow City checked off Tai Pan Agogo On the first turn.

Speedy Spyro was quick to begin.  Katie Cortis, For The Thrill, Star Gazers, Kazoo Giblet and Nangar Troy collided on the first turn checking Nangar Troy, Kazoo Giblet and Star Gazers.  Katie Cortis, For The Thrill and Aston Shadow collided approaching the home turn checking For The Thrill. Katie Cortis raced wide on the home turn.

Riverdale Mitch was slow to begin.  My Mascara stumbled at box rise and lost ground.  Kamari faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently pulled up.  Flying Bella, Cool Story Bro and Riverdale Mitch collided approaching the home turn checking Cool Story Bro.

Kamari underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
