Steward's Report
Wheelin' In and Nitro Tommy collided soon after the start. Wheelin' In, Nitro Tommy, Tilly Divine and Awesome Value collided on the first turn checking Wheelin' In. Sassenach and Magnis Bale collided approaching the home turn. Tilly Divine and Awesome Value collided on the home turn. Nitro Tommy raced wide on the home turn colliding with Magnis Bale and Sassenach.
Nitro Tommy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Garry George regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. George, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
