Steward's Report
Goodbye Ben was quick to begin. Grant's Treqasure and Orange Ruffy were slow to begin.
Wilma Rudd, Sandgroper and Crymelon Libby collided approaching the first turn severely checking Wilma Rudd and Crymelon Libby. Wilma Rudd contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Goodbye Ben, Jimmy and Orange Ruffy collided entering the home straight checking Orange Ruffy.
Wilma Rudd underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the left wrist and left elbow. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Goodbye Ben - the winner of the event.
