Steward's Report
Mr John McIntyre was issued with a warning under (GAR 86(o)) for negligence after the greyhound, Ivy's Bobby was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.
The HGA Kennel Attendant was reminded of his responsibilities after the greyhound, Ivy's Bobby was placed in an incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.
My Dewana Penny and Ballara Bullet collided soon after the start. Ivy's Bobby, Let's Send It and Alamosa Bill collided soon after the start checking Let's Send It. Let's Send It and My Dewana Penny collided at the 50m mark..
Stewards held the All-Clear in order to review the positioning of the lure at the 100m mark, with reference to GAR 55 (1). After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards were satisfied that no runner was substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the Event. Therefore, the variance was permitted in accordance with GAR 55 (1) and the All Clear was given on 8-3-4-1. Stewards spoke to the Lure Driver in relation to the positioning of the lure at the 100m mark.
Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Frost, the trainer of Let's Send It as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Mr Frost were noted, and a post-race sample was taken for analysis from Let's Send It - unplaced in the event.
