Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Orson Delight - Late scratching at 7:25am when trainer, Mr Mark Giddings reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Namajunas and Alcindor were slow to begin.

Perfect Pearl, Nomad Road, Blue Sky Limit and Hardaway Brady collided at the 250m mark.  Namajunas crossed to the outside at the 200m mark.  Perfect Pearl, Nomad Road and Hardaway Brady collided at the 150m mark checking Nomad Road and Hardaway Brady.  Wonders Magic and Alcindor collided at the 100m mark.

Perfect Pearl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right pencil muscle and the left sacro-iliac.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms Alice Peat regarding the racing manners of Nomad Road at the 200m mark.  After hearing evidence from Ms Peat, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 200m mark.

Big Bash Jess was quick to begin.  Evan Almighty was slow to begin.

Lucy's Villa and Still Got Time collided at the 150m mark and again at the 50m mark.  High Profiler and Miss Mumby collided approaching the winning post.  Exford Norm and Big Bash Jess collided approaching the winning post checking Big Bash Jess.

Rack City was slow to begin.

Konta and Rack City collided at the 300m mark.  Smart As Jack and Hello George collided at the 50m mark.

Aston Lights, Like A Hurricane and Rain Dance collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark checking Like A Hurricane.  Rain Dance checked off Aston Lights at the 200m mark.  Blue Spot checked off Scaramouche at the 100m mark.  Like A Hurricane and Rain Dance collided at the 50m mark.  Two Face checked off Blue Spot approaching the winning post.

Pie Night checked off My Name's Phil at the 200m mark.  Unquestioned and Major Cyclone collided at the 150m mark.  Major Cyclone galloped on the heels of Brother Bearing at the 100m mark checking My Name's Phil and Brother Bearing.  Vortex and Pie Night collided approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Aston Latham - the winner of the event.

Got A Repair and Beers On Brody collided soon after the start.  Always Primed crossed to the rail at the 300m mark.  Got A Repair checked off Beers On Brody at the 300m mark.  Got A Repair crossed out at the 250m mark.  Beers On Brody, Gold Giselle and Jimmy Maker collided at the 50m mark checking Gold Giselle and Jimmy Maker.  Gold Giselle and Jimmy Maker collided approaching the winning post.

Mr John McIntyre was issued with a warning under (GAR 86(o)) for negligence after the greyhound, Ivy's Bobby was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

The HGA Kennel Attendant was reminded of his responsibilities after the greyhound, Ivy's Bobby was placed in an incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

My Dewana Penny and Ballara Bullet collided soon after the start.  Ivy's Bobby, Let's Send It and Alamosa Bill collided soon after the start checking Let's Send It.  Let's Send It and My Dewana Penny collided at the 50m mark.. 

Stewards held the All-Clear in order to review the positioning of the lure at the 100m mark, with reference to GAR 55 (1).  After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards were satisfied that no runner was substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the Event.  Therefore, the variance was permitted in accordance with GAR 55 (1) and the All Clear was given on 8-3-4-1.  Stewards spoke to the Lure Driver in relation to the positioning of the lure at the 100m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Frost, the trainer of Let's Send It as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards.  The comments of Mr Frost were noted, and a post-race sample was taken for analysis from Let's Send It - unplaced in the event.

Zigzag Cabang was slow to begin.

Moon Over Mexico and Barista Chick collided soon after the start.  Unknown Ability and Six Speed Manual collided soon after the start.  Moon Over Mexico, Barista Chick, Unknown Ability, Six Speed Manual and Texicali Tiger collided approaching the 300m mark checking Barista Chick.  Barista Chick checked off Zigzag Cabang at the 300m mark.  Texicali Tiger, Six Speed Manual and Moon Over Mexico collided approaching the 250m mark.  Moon Over Mexico, Six Speed Manual and Mighty Pie collided approaching the 150m mark.  Texicali Tiger and Raph City collided at the 50m mark.  Six Speed Manual and Mighty Pie collided approaching the winning post.  Raph City checked off Texicali Tiger approaching the winning post.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Attendant, Ms K. Johnson did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Alfie Solomon, Assume Kealy, Ivy Isobel and Maverick Sandy collided soon after the start checking Assume Kealy.  Hacker and My Dad Baz collided several times at the 250m mark.  Alfie Solomon and Ivy Isobel collided approaching the 200m mark.  Hacker and My Dad Baz collided several times approaching the 150m mark checking My Dad Baz.  Maverick Sandy checked off Ivy Isobel at the 100m mark.  Assume Kealy checked off Alfie Solomon approaching the 50m mark.

Due to a heavy downpour following this event, Stewards inspected the track and deemed the surface satisfactory for racing.

Due to thunder activity in the Healesville area following Event 10, and for the safety of participants and greyhounds, Stewards rescheduled this event to commence at 2:26pm in lieu of the advertised starting time of 2:10pm.

Custom Roof was slow to begin.

Balmoral and Custom Roof collided at the 200m mark.  Kraken Jock and Invictus Stella collided at the 200m mark.  Unreasonable raced wide from the 200m mark to the 100m mark.  Kraken Jock and Nowhere Nathe collided approaching the winning post.

Due to thunder activity in the Healesville area following Event 10, and for the safety of participants and greyhounds, Stewards rescheduled this event to commence at 2:41pm in lieu of the advertised starting time of 2:26pm.
