Steward's Report
He Shall Rodger and Tiberia Bale collided soon after the start. Keep It Blue, Time For Peace, Pirates Patch, Barooga Smoke and Fantastic Raven collided soon after the start checking Barooga Smoke. Barooga Smoke, He Shall Rodger and Tiberia Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Time For Peace, Pirates Patch, Barooga Smoke, He Shall Rodger and Tiberia Bale. Time For Peace and Pirates Patch collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds, causing Time For Peace to falter and pull up in the back straight.
Time For Peace was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Pirates Patch was vetted following an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Auspicious Queen was required to attend the OTV however the greyhound was not presented, Stewards will follow up with Trainer Mr P. Abela.
Supplementary Report
Auspicious Queen - Presented at Sandown (14/11/2021) for a veterinarian examination. No apparent injury was reported. Stewards inquired into the reasons for the greyhound not being presented to the OTV at The Meadows. After considering the explanantion provided by Mr. P. Abela, the nature of the request and his offence record, Mr Abela was issued a warning on this occassion pursuant to GAR 42(2).
