Bareki was quick to begin.  Lala Ivory and Americano Miss collided soon after the start.  Americano Miss and Weblec Raider collided soon after the start checking Weblec Raider.  Titan Blazer and Perfect Colour collided on the first turn.  Lala Ivory and Greysynd Shock collided on the first turn checking Greysynd Shock.  Lala Ivory checked off Weblec Raider in the back straight.  Greysynd Shock and Weblec Raider collided on the home turn.

Perfect Colour  underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event at the trainer’s request and was found to have injuries to the left calf and left hock.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Weblec Raider underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Ultimate Avenger was quick to begin.  Resurgence and Plan Ahead were slow to begn.  Auspicious Queen and Ultimate Avenger collided approaching the first turn.  Tarawi Ted and Plan Ahead collided on the first turn.  Tarawi Ted and Plan Ahead collided on the third turn checking Tarawi Ted.

Ultimate Avenger  underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right front toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

Handsome Rhino was quick to begin.  Westar Aileen, Aston Amigo and Denise's Vision collided on the first turn checking Aston Amigo.  Handsome Rhino shifted out in the back straight.

Gypsy Bun went up with the lids at box rise and was checked.  Kinson Bale and Tiberia Bale collided soon after the start.  Time For Peace, Nikoli Bale and Xavien Bale collided on the first turn.  Gypsy Bun and Tiberia Bale checked off Xavien Bale on the second turn.

Time For Peace  underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

Happy Ruby, Shima Punga, Ben Mayo, Daph's Zac, Caroline and Russian Sub collided soon after the start checking Happy Ruby, Shima Punga, Daph's Zac and Caroline.  Ben Mayo checked off Russian Sub approaching the first turn.  Shima Punga and Daph's Zac collided on the first turn.  Shima Punga and Caroline collided approaching the second turn checking Caroline.

Gypsy Wyong was quick to begin.  Zac's Entity was slow to begin.  Hank The Hustler and Stanley Road checked off Mepunga Ruby soon after the start.  Mepunga Ruby checked off Super Estrella approaching the first turn.  Mepunga Ruby checked off Zac's Entity approaching the second turn.  Zipping Niseko and Zac's Entity collided approaching the third turn checking Zipping Niseko.  Gypsy Wyong and Zac's Entity collided on the third turn.  Super Estrella checked off Zac's Entity on the third turn.  Zac's Entity turned its head outwards and marred Stanley Road on the home turn.  Stanley Road fell as a result.

Stanley Road  underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event. No apparent injury was reported.

Zac's Entity underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event.   It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left front nail.  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Mrs J. Greenough regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Zac's Entity was charged with marring.  Mrs Greenough pleaded guilty to the charge and Zac's Entity was suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aratuza Bale was quick to begin.  Valeska Bale, Galloping Speed and Enter The Son collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Midnight Flash contacted the running rail on the second turn and was checked.  Valeska Bale checked off Midnight Flash on the third turn.  Valeska Bale checked off Enter The Son approaching the fourth turn.  Midnight Flash checked off Enter The Son on the fourth turn.

Midnight Flash underwent a post-race veterinary examination following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Rupee was quick to begin.  Jungle Deuce and Bandit Ned collided soon after the start checking Jungle Deuce.  Do It checked off Aston Rupee on the first turn.  Jungle Deuce checked off Zipping Kyrgios on the first turn.  Lala Kiwi checked off Do It approaching the third turn.

Mr M. Franklin was issued with a warning for failing to catch the greyhound Bandit Ned under GAR86(o).

Do It underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing on the off fore. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Fabriola Duran was quick to begin.  Irinka Riley was slow to begin.  Little Tiger, Blazing Times, Indy Ghost and Trout collided soon after the start.  Little Tiger, Blazing Times and Indy Ghost collided approaching the first turn.  Blazing Times, Trout, Sir Champ and Irinka Riley collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds.  Blazing Times and Sir Champ collided on the second turn.  Irinka Riley galloped on Sir Champ on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Trout and Sir Champ collided on the third turn.
