Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Evanlee.
Masters On Metro was quick to begin. Jack’s Rose and Grace Cabang collided on the first turn. Dundee Zircon was checked off Masters On Metro On the first turn causing Dundee Zircon to stumble. Evanlee was checked off Waylin Bale in the home straight. Queen Of Mojo visibly eased and turned its head out in the home straight and marred Evanlee.
Dundee Zircon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist and left monkey muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Queen Of Mojo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro, the representative for Queen Of Mojo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Queen Of Mojo was charged with marring. Mr. Pollutro pleaded guilty to the charge, Queen Of Mojo was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
