The Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Memphis Rock and Calypso Princess were quick to begin.  Mega Tate and Afro Boy were slow to begin.  Geoffrey Jakit and Bowler’s Name collided soon after the start.  Afro Boy and Geoffrey Jakit collided on the first turn.  Bowler’s Name and Mintaro Bale collided on the first turn.  Bowler’s Name and Geoffrey Jakit collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Barry Jakit and Browning Bale were quick to begin.  Galloping Debbie went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Mr. Specter and He Can Talk collided soon after the start.  Galloping Debbie was checked off Okara Bale on the first turn.  Mt. View Bro and Okara Bale collided on the home turn.

Okara Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

King Kairo - Late scratching at 11.20am - Stewards non penalty.

Ozzie Dan was quick to begin.  Majestic Jay was slow to begin.  Ozzie Dan and Under His Spell collided on the first turn checking Under His Spell.  Under His Spell and Orange Ruffy collided approaching the home turn.  Little Kevin crossed out on the home turn causing Tower Bell to gallop on Little Kevin.  Under His Spell was checked off Orange Ruffy entering the home straight.

Little Kevin underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Prince Nangana - Late scratching at 2.07pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. E. Lieshout was fined $100.

Weeona Evie was quick to begin.  Crystal Edition and Jeza You Beauty collided on the first turn checking Crystal Edition, Jeza You Beauty and Truth I Fear.  Jeza You Beauty and Sicilian collided approaching the home turn.  Sicilian and Crystal Edition collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

So Jo Mac was quick to begin.  Addie Attitude was slow to begin.  Black Mintie was checked off Maximum Trina approaching the first turn.  Maximum Trina was checked off So Jo Mac on the first turn.

A post race sample was taken from Luxury Art - winner of the event.

Mr. Football was slow to begin.  Pat My Lass was checked off Aston Harrison approaching the first turn.  Aston Harrison, Saint Phoenix and Hurricane Keely collided on the first turn checking Aston Harrison, Saint Phoenix, Hurricane Keely and Pat My Lass.  Pat My Lass was checked off Hurricane Keely on the home turn.

Hurricane Keely underwenrt a post race veterinary examination and no apparent unjury was reported.

Mr. Football - Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the box first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Masters On Metro was quick to begin.  Jack’s Rose and Grace Cabang collided on the first turn. Dundee Zircon was checked off Masters On Metro On the first turn causing Dundee Zircon to stumble.  Evanlee was checked off Waylin Bale in the home straight.  Queen Of Mojo visibly eased and turned its head out in the home straight and marred Evanlee.

Dundee Zircon underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist and left monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Queen Of Mojo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro, the representative for Queen Of Mojo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Queen Of Mojo was charged with marring. Mr. Pollutro pleaded guilty to the charge, Queen Of Mojo was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Oscar The Scout and Mussa Jack were slow to begin. Wee Gem and Red Nangana collided approaching the first turn.

Lady Loch - New declared weight of 27.7kg, last raced at 25.9kg.

Next Teardrop was checked off Elswyk Suzie soon after the start.  Fray’s Courage and Total Babe collided approaching the first turn.  Highway Man and Next Teardrop collided approaching the first turn.  Fray’s Courage and Total Babe collided on the first turn.  Next Teardrop raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Calabrese Gino underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hock and right triangle muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Diama Miss - Blinkers on - Field of 4, Distance 400 metres, Weight 29.4kg,  Box 4, Placed 2nd, Time run 23.75secs.  Comment: Cleared to race in blinkers.

Get Around Me - Unsatisfactory performance - Field of 4, Distance 400 metres, Weight 28.7kg, Box 6, Placed 4th, Time run 25.57 secs. Comment: Not Cleared, faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Get Around Me underwent a post trial veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist and right triangle muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Autumn Haze - Failed to chase and blinkers on - Field of 4, Distance 400 metres, Weight 32.5kg, Box 8, Placed 1st, Time run 22.77secs. Comment: Cleared all tracks except Ballarat and cleared to race in blinkers.
