Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks (indoors), observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Barbara Ann was quick to begin.

Go Saints Go galloped on Barbara Ann soon after the start checking Go Saints Go.  Ebony Tara and Know Ethics collided approaching the first turn checking Know Ethics.  Know Ethics checked off Jebrynah Sol on the first turn checking Know Ethics and Go Saints Go.  Jebrynah Sol galloped on Dr. Esther approaching the home turn.  Know Ethics checked off Jebrynah Sol on the home turn.  Know Ethics checked off Go Saints Go entering the home straight.

Following the completion of the event, Stewards were made aware of an issue with the timing system for the running of race 1. Stewards conducted manual timing of the event and corrected the race time and sectional times. 

This event was delayed by 2 minutes due to a Hobart harness race.

Fat Cracker was quick to begin.  Jack's Cracker was slow to begin.

Fat Cracker, Jack's Cracker and Mac Attack collided approaching the first turn.  Classic Touch galloped on Fat Cracker on the first turn severely checking Classic Touch.  Fat Cracker checked off Jack's Cracker on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Kysaiah - the winner of the event.

Jackie's Lass, Elmo Rose and Bonnie Gem were quick to begin. 

Elswyk Shadow checked off Heads Up Boy soon after the start.  Oscar Rose checked off Dundee Velvet approaching the first turn.  Oscar Rose and Blazing Norman collided approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds and causing Blazing Norman to fall. Elswyck Shadow, which was trailing those runners, was also checked as a result of this incident.  Oscar Rose checked off Dundee Velvet entering the home straight.  Elmo Rose raced wide in the home straight.

Blazing Norman underwent a post-race veterinary examination -  no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Elmo Rose - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dr. Lysandra, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Elswyk Jordy was quick to begin.

Dr. Lysandra and Nova Star collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Catch and Jebrynah Umida collided approaching the first turn checking Catch, Jebrynah Umida and Battling Baz.  Battling Baz and Jebrynah Umida collided approaching the home turn.

Addie Attitude was slow to begin.

Blue Cascade checked off California Blond approaching the first turn.  California Blond and Keybow Sally collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  California Blond clipped the heels of Addie Attitude approaching the home turn, checking Addie Attitude.

Tiger Time checked off Harrigan soon after the start checking Ridge, Lavish Diamond and Forcefully.  Lavish Diamond checked off Forcefully on the second turn.  Golden Skyrocket raced wide in the home straight.

Claydon was quick to begin.

Sandy Gem and Omega Sierra collided soon after the start checking Omega Sierra.  Sandy Gem and Zipping Hamish collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Omega Sierra galloped on Sandy Gem on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Lakeview Cruiser checked off Claydon on the first turn.

Diamond Cartel was quick to begin.  Jezza Bence was slow to begin.

Rose's Honey, Do Good Davlin, Supercomputer and Cosmic Roy collided soon after the start.  Diamond Cartel and Do Good Davlin collided on the first turn checking Do Good Davlin.  Diamond Cartel checked off Supercomputer and collided with Rose's Honey on the home turn checking Rose's Honey.  Rose's Honey and Cosmic Roy collided entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Vesna Spolly.

Madalia Pixie and System Issues collided soon after the start.  Zardora and Captain Warrior collided approaching the first turn.  Our Blue Spolly, System Issues and Vesna Spolly collided approaching the home turn.  System Issues clipped the heels of Vesna Spolly on the home turn checking Eugenie, System Issues and Vesna Spolly.  Eugenie and System Issues raced wide in the home straight.

Ken's Crew and Two Pars were quick to begin.

Flywheel Bandit checked off Ken's Crew and collided with Billy Bob Jordan and Elswyk Suzie soon after the start.  Flywheel Bandit and Billy Bob Jordan collided approaching the first turn checking Flywheel Bandit.  Rookie Mistake galloped on Say You Will on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Reimagine galloped on Ken's Crew approaching the home turn.  Billy Bob Jordan, Ken's Crew and Rookie Mistake collided on the home turn.  Reimagine shifted out and turned it's head outwards entering the home straight. Two Pars and Reimagine collided in the home straight.

Reimagine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind back muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to the trainer, Mr. Terry Proctor regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Reimagine was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Proctor pleaded not guilty to the charge, Reimagine was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tiger's Twenty and Yellow And Black collided soon after the start checking Tiger's Twenty.  Yellow And Black and Aston Atlas collided approaching the first turn.  Mr. Blurton and Nitroglycerine collided on the first turn.  Nitroglycerine checked off Parumba Rebel on the first turn.  Leo Rose, Tiger's Twenty and Aston Atlas collided on the first turn;  Tiger's Twenty and Aston Atlas fell as a result.  Mr. Blurton and Nitroglycerine collided entering the home straight.

Tiger's Twenty underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Atlas underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder and left hind triangle muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Hot Shaynna was quick to begin.  Annie Rose was slow to begin.

Dr. Danika and Annie Rose collided on the first turn.  Persian Goddess clipped the heels of Lacie Rose on the home turn causing Persian Goddess to fall checking Dr. Danika.

Persian Goddess underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

There was no front straight head on vision available for this event.
