Steward's Report
Speedy Lemon - Late scratching at 12.29pm when Mr. V. Daffy reported the greyhound to have a laceration (GAR23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Black Mintie was slow to begin. Rocks Got Talent and So Joe Mac collided soon after the start. So Joe Mac and Gee Dalton collided approaching the first turn. Zereva and Gee Dalton collided approaching the first turn. Clyde Jakit and Rocks Got Talent collided in the home straight severely checking Clyde Jakit which fell as a result severely checking So Joe Mac and Panadero Grace.
Clyde Jakit underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
So Joe Mac underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
