Run Topper was quick to begin.  Sheila Sazs and Mega Tate were slow to begin.  Annabelle Rocks and Little Kevin collided soon after the start.  Under His Spell and Annabelle Rocks collided soon after the start.  Mega Tate and Sheila Sazs collided soon after the start.  Little Kevin, Ozzie Dan and Geoffrey Jakit collided approaching the first turn checking Ozzie Dan.  Little Kevin, Mega Tate and Sheila Sazs collided on the first turn checking Mega Tate which collided with Ozzie Dan; checking Ozzie Dan.  Little Kevin and Sheila Sazs collided in the home straight checking Little Kevin.

Crowdza Blest was quick to begin.  Mt. View Burner was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Magic Trio and He Can Talk collided soon after the start. Bowler’s Name crossed to the rail approaching the first turn and collided with Crowdza Blest, Aqua’s Hope, Victory Indi and Magic Trio, severely checking Victory Indi and Aqua’s Hope.  He Can Talk and Aqua’s Hope raced wide in the home straight.

Aqua’s Hope underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left biceps.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

My Annabelle was quick to begin.  Starter’s King went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Memphis Rock crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Starter’s King.  Mt. View Bro crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Mt. View Moon.  Blazin’ Mist and Mt. View Bro collided soon after the start.  Starter’s King and Mt. View Bro collided approaching the first turn.  My Annabelle was checked off Show Queen on the first turn.  Blazin’ Mist was checked off Mr. Specter on the first turn.  Blazin’ Mist raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.  Blazin’ Mist and Starter’s King collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

You Nugget, Aston Jive, Satanic Mikado and Weeona Evie collided soon after the start checking Satanic Mikado.  Short Fine Leg, You Nugget and Aston Jive collided approaching the first turn checking Short Fine Leg.  You Nugget and Weeona Evie collided approaching the first turn checking Weeona Evie.  Blazin’ Sushi crossed to the outside in the home straight.

Zurial Bale was slow to begin.  Dollhouse Agogo, Got The Blues and Obsession Agogo collided soon after the start.  Prada Gem and Dollhouse Agogo collided on the first turn.  Obsession Agogo and Prada Gem collided in the home straight.

Fargo was slow to begin.  Aston Harrison went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Princess Lace and Hurricane Keely collided soon after the start.  Aston Ruston and Princess Lace collided approaching the first turn.  Bomber’s Wonder and Fargo collided on the first turn.  Eilish’s Dream and Pat My Lass collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Aston Harrison was checked off Aston Ruston approaching the home turn checking Hurricane Keely.

Flash Spolly was slow to begin.  Elswyk Rocky, Banjo Glitter and Dale From Sale collided on the first turn severely checking Dale From Sale.  Pilot Pete and Flash Spolly collided on the first turn.  Pilot Pete was checked off Banjo Glitter in the home straight checking Flash Spolly.  Elswyk Sky was checked off Elswyk Rocky in the home straight.  Elswyk Sky and Pilot Pete raced wide in the home straight.  Elswyk Rocky and Fourth Dimention collided approaching the winning post.

Nunniong Bear, Mussa Jack and Oscar The Scout were slow to begin.  Metro Boomin’ crossed in soon after the start checking Mussa Jack and Armstrong Bobby.  Mussa Jack was checked off Metro Boomin’ approaching the first turn checking Nunniong Bear.  Armstrong Bobby was checked off Metro Boomin’ on the first turn checking Montaro and Nunniong Bear.  Armstrong Bobby and Mussa Jack collided approaching the home turn.  Mussa Jack was checked off Speed Demon entering the home straight checking Armstrong Bobby.

Tigers On Fire and Still Chasing were slow to begin.  Tigers On Fire crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide in the back straight.  Magical Doll was checked off Forever approaching the first turn. Tigers On Fire raced wide on the first turn.  Hurricane Miss, Spin and Double On Ice collided on the first turn checking Hurricane Miss and Double On Ice.

Ballymac Woman - New declared weight of 30.1kg, last raced at 31.8kg.

Morosis and Oda May were slow to begin.  Good Boy Colombo and Carnivore collided soon after the start.  Carnivore was checked off Morosis approaching the first turn.  Bomber’s Smokey and Morosis collided on the first turn.  Avery Charm was checked off Ballymac Woman on the first turn.  Good Boy Colombo and Ballymac Woman collided approaching the home turn.  Carnivore was checked off Oda May on the home turn.  Oda May and Mikado Set collided in the home straight.

Brazen King - Late scratching at 2.56pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to diarrhoea.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 6.20pm due to continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the venue.  Due to safety concerns the meeting was delayed by 41 minutes and races re-scheduled accordingly.

Cooped Up and Hurry Harry were slow to begin.  Maximum Trina crossed in soon after the start checking Run Robyn Run and Heckle Me.  Heckle Me and Run Robyn Run collided approaching the first turn.  Cooped Up raced wide in the home straight.

Speedy Lemon - Late scratching at 12.29pm when Mr. V. Daffy reported the greyhound to have a laceration (GAR23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Black Mintie was slow to begin.  Rocks Got Talent and So Joe Mac collided soon after the start.  So Joe Mac and Gee Dalton collided approaching the first turn.  Zereva and Gee Dalton collided approaching the first turn.  Clyde Jakit and Rocks Got Talent collided in the home straight severely checking Clyde Jakit which fell as a result severely checking So Joe Mac and Panadero Grace.

Clyde Jakit underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right thigh.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

So Joe Mac underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
