Steward's Report
Brazen King - Late scratching at 2.56pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to diarrhoea. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 6.20pm due to continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the venue. Due to safety concerns the meeting was delayed by 41 minutes and races re-scheduled accordingly.
A pre-race sample was taken from Luxury Art.
Cooped Up and Hurry Harry were slow to begin. Maximum Trina crossed in soon after the start checking Run Robyn Run and Heckle Me. Heckle Me and Run Robyn Run collided approaching the first turn. Cooped Up raced wide in the home straight.
