Shim Girl was slow to begin.
American Missile and Boes Rose collided at the 250m mark. Aston Dimple and Ishmy Lady collided approaching the 225m mark. Shim Girl crossed in at the 150m mark colliding with American Missile and Boes Rose checking American Missile, Boes Rose, Shim Girl and Ishmy Lady. Boes Rose galloped on American Missile at the 100m mark causing Boes Rose to fall as a result.
Boes Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
