Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Laquita Gem and Alira Gem collided several times from soon after the start to the 250m mark.  Queen Sal turned its head inwards, crossed in and collided with Blue Cherry Miss soon after the start and again at the 225m mark checking Queen Sal, Blue Cherry Miss and Mischief Lass.  Mischief Lass and Queen Sal collided at the 150m mark.  Mischief Lass, Laquita Gem and Frantic Funfetti collided at the 75m mark checking Frantic Funfetti.  Mischief Lass and Queen Sal collided at the 50m mark.  

Queen Sal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3.  Queen Sal was found to have a right thigh injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Tony Salpigtidis regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start and at the 225m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Queen Sal was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Salpigtidis pleaded guilty to the charge, Queen Sal was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Our Maxie Boy – Late scratching at 8.39am when trainer Mr Darren Irby reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mia's Memory – New declared weight of 26.2 kg, last raced at 25.0 kg.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Tom For Shaw with Mr Garry Johnson and noted his comments.

Delta Storm was quick to begin.  Bold Voyager and Bold Linda were slow to begin.

Dusty Knight went up with the lids and was slow to begin. Next Teardrop crossed out soon after the start.  Bold Voyager and Tom For Shaw collided several times from soon after the start to the 200m mark checking both greyhounds.  

Orange Man Bad was slow to begin.

Pat My Lass and Blind Electra collided soon after the start.  Irish Hope, St. Marys Panda and My Dad Baz collided soon after the start checking St. Marys Panda.  Indian Calling, Irish Hope and My Dad Baz collided at the 275m mark.  Pat My Lass and Indian Calling collided at the 225m mark checking both greyhounds.  

Clever Trevor and Uncle Drew were quick to begin.  Gypsy Play and Paint Peeler were slow to begin.

Gypsy Play and Paint Peeler collided soon after the start.  He's A Geezer and Kid Malawi collided at the 225m mark.  Gypsy Play and Kid Malawi collided approaching the 50m mark checking Gypsy Play.  

Stewards spoke to the trainer of He's A Geezer, Mr James Duller regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post and took no further action.

Blackjack Cougar and More Speed collided soon after the start.  Gung Ho Hunter and Demolition collided soon after the start.  Just Rambling crossed in soon after the start colliding with Gung Ho Hunter and Demolition.  Blackjack Cougar and Just Rambling collided at the 300m mark.  Just Rambling, Man Cave and Gung Ho Hunter collided at the 250m mark checking Gung Ho Hunter.  Gung Ho Hunter and Demolition collided at the 150m mark.  Just Rambling and Man Cave collided at the 150m mark.  Beta Days Ahead and Blackjack Cougar collided at the 50m mark.

Busy Izzy was quick to begin.

Boes Bounty crossed in soon after the start and collided with Montie Court.  Sugar Boloney and Montie Court collided at the 250m mark.  Stanley Boy and Freddie Loco collided at the 200m mark checking Stanley Boy.  Sugar Boloney checked off Raquea's Dream at the 200m mark.  Busy Izzy checked off Raquea's Dream at the 50m mark. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Seen Better.

Little Swagger and Indy's Dream collided at the 200m mark.  Indy's Dream checked off Sassenach at the 50m mark.  Indy's Dream faltered approaching the winning post. 

Indy's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track from the 50m mark to the winning post and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Shim Girl was slow to begin.

American Missile and Boes Rose collided at the 250m mark.  Aston Dimple and Ishmy Lady collided approaching the 225m mark.  Shim Girl crossed in at the 150m mark colliding with American Missile and Boes Rose checking American Missile, Boes Rose, Shim Girl and Ishmy Lady.  Boes Rose galloped on American Missile at the 100m mark causing Boes Rose to fall as a result.  

Boes Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Flash Spolly and Franki Jay collided at the 250m mark.  Flash Spolly and Maximum Capers collided at the 225m mark.  Flash Spolly and Showboat Capers collided at the 50m mark.  Maximum Capers checked off Flash Spolly approaching the winning post.  Flash Spolly, Don's Scolari and Showboat Capers collided approaching the winning post checking Flash Spolly.  

Showboat Capers underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Jason Stemmer regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Stemmer, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
