Steward's Report
Zipping Sense – Late scratching at 1.38pm by Order of Stewards in the best interests of greyhound racing, in accordance with GAR 20 (4) (b) due to connections being unable to provide the required documentation to meet the State Government’s Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions.
Stirling Lights stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.
Lucky Lance and Let Out collided soon after the start. Let Out and Broady Lights collided approaching the first turn checking Let Out. Let Out faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently pulled up. Demolition and Parzival collided on the home turn. Parzival raced wide in the home straight.
Let Out underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock. Let Out was humanely euthanised.
Following the running of this event and after consistent rainfall in the area, Stewards inspected the entirety of the track and deemed it to be satisfactory for racing.
