Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) starter, Ms. D. Roberston did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Aston Xavier was slow to begin.
Silver Ambition went up with the lids at box rise. Lizzie's Glory checked off Mt. View Ivy soon after the start. Miss Marlee Moo checked off Waikerie Bandit approaching the first turn severely checking Miss Marlee Moo which lost ground as a result. Silver Ambition checked off Mt. View Ivy approaching the first turn. Jerry Buzzard and Mt. View Ivy collided entering the home straight and several times in the home straight. Aston Xavier checked off Lizzie's Glory entering the home straight.
Miss Marlee Moo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke the trainer of Waikerie Bandit, Mr Thomas Sharp regarding his tardiness when boxing the greyhound. Stewards noted Mr. Sharp's explanation and no further action was taken.
