Prince Archer went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Brizo was slow to begin.
Fascinate Candy and Rocky Strike collided approaching the first turn. Waylin Bale checked off Brizo approaching the first turn. Butterfly Indee lost ground on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Trending Wave checked off Waylin Bale on the first turn. Butterfly Indee faltered in the home straight.
Butterfly Indee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Prince Archer underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request - no apparent injury was reported.
