A pre-race sample was taken from Jayville Slick.
Major Sacrifice, My Father's Son, Fabriola Zad and Snapper Smith were slow to begin. Jayville Slick, Party Lights and Carry On Maxwell collided on the first turn. Major Sacrifice checked off Carry On Maxwell on the second turn checking Fabriola Zad and Snapper Smith. Major Sacrifice and Fabriola Zad collided entering the home straight. My Father's Son checked off Jayville Slick approaching the winning post.
