Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

A pre-race sample was taken from Baffling.

Beena Success and Northern Era collided soon after the start checking Beena Success.  Baffling and Mepunga Gem collided approaching the first turn.  Smoke Bush Drive, Mepunga Gem and Baffling collided on the first turn severely checking Mepunga Gem which fell.  

Mepunga Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left scapula fracture.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Aranyi and Mayfair Ronnie collided soon after the start.  Alira Gem and Lady Of Leisure collided approaching the first turn checking Alira Gem.  Alira Gem and Joyous Spirit collided on the first turn.  Lady Of Leisure and Riverdale Poppy collided approaching the home turn checking Lady Of Leisure which lost ground.  Joyous Spirit marred Alira Gem entering the home straight and in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds.  Riverdale Poppy raced wide in the home straight.  Lady Of Leisure lost ground in the home straight.

Lady Of Leisure underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Joyous Spirit underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right triangle, left and right groin injuries.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Deborah Coleman, the Kennel Representative, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight and in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1), Joyous Spirit was charged with marring.  Ms. Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge and Joyous Spirit was suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Limburg Argon and Shore Lanka were quick to begin. Lyrical Pat and Kenzo Fernando collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Deadly Express and Reiko Shock collided on the first turn checking Reiko Shock.  

A post-race sample was taken from Limburg Argon - winner of the event.

Blazer Nation crossed to the rail soon after the start checking All Inn Olivia.  Neesa Giblet and Wild Keyra collided on the first turn.  

Yuna Bale – Late scratching at 1.54pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left hind foot injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Shim's Heart, Mahogany Flame, Phoenix Flight, Red Mahogany and Fly To Victory collided approaching the first turn.  Phoenix Flight and Fly To Victory collided approaching the first turn.  Mega Heist and Lonesome Star collided on the first turn checking Lonesome Star.  Mahogany Flame and Fly To Victory collided on the first turn checking Mahogany Flame.  Mahogany Flame galloped on Fly To Victory approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  

A post-race sample was taken from Shim's Heart - winner of the event. 

Know Success and Feel The Thunder collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Feel The Thunder.  King Brown and Pansy Parkinson collided approaching the home turn.  Squawking Budgie and Feel The Thunder collided on the home turn.  Speedy Lemon lost ground in the home straight. 

Speedy Lemon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right front toe injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Riverdale Mitch went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Mr. Lonely and Bill Bob Lad collided on the first turn.  Riverdale Mitch and Major Bourbski collided on the first turn checking Riverdale Mitch.  Mr. Lonely and Bill Bob Lad collided approaching the home turn checking Mr. Lonely.  Winslet Bale raced wide in the home straight.  

Zipping Pistol was slow to begin.

Barwidgi, Shazbot and Zipping Celeste collided approaching the first turn.  Ultimate Mayhem and Trout collided approaching the home turn checking Trout.  

A post-race sample was taken from Zipping Celeste - winner of the event.  

The initial attempt to start this event was aborted due to an electrical issue with the amber and green starting lights after the greyhounds had been loaded into the boxes. All greyhounds were subsequently backed out and underwent a veterinary examination, where they were all passed fit for racing pursuant to GAR 56(6). Stewards ordered the re-start to be a manual start. Due to track maintenance staff being unable to rectify the issue in time, there were no amber or green lights operational for this event.

The start time of this event was amended from 5.33pm to 5.50pm.

Comeback Jack was slow to begin. Campaspe Wilson and Gecko Fernando collided soon after the start.  Comeback Jack and Campaspe Wilson collided on the first turn.  Sound The Bugle and Hayley's Hero collided on the first turn checking Hayley's Hero.  Riverdale Tifany and Gecko Fernando collided entering the home straight.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Sound The Bugle became dislodged during the running of the event.

This event was hand-timed.

The start time of this event was amended from 5.50pm to 6.08pm.

By the start of this event, track maintenance staff had rectified the previous electrical issue from Race 9 and the starting boxes and track were declared suitable for racing.

Smokin' Rocket – Late scratching at 1.53pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Defiance and Dr. Perry collided soon after the start. Snow Onyx, Defiance and Dr. Perry collided on the first turn checking Snow Onyx and Defiance.  Blackpool Homer and Rocky Strike collided approaching the home turn checking Rocky Strike.  

This race time was amended from 6.08pm to 6.25pm.

Speedy Spyro was quick to begin. Especial Empire and Speedy Spyro collided approaching the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Especial Empire - winner of the event.

This race time was amended from 6.25pm to 6.44pm.

Apache Chaz and Riverdale Bear collided soon after the start checking Riverdale Bear.  Apache Chaz and Sugar Boloney collided approaching the first turn.  Apache Chaze galloped on Very Elegant on the home turn checking Very Elegant.  Riverdale Bear and Rogue Temptation collided entering the home straight.
