Rockabye Bear – Late scratching at 10.41am when trainer Matthew Lanigan reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Indy Ghost.
Rebellious was quick to begin. Peaky Blazer was slow to begin.
Street Riot and Weblec Scout collided soon after the start. Peaky Blazer and Weblec Scout collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Street Riot shifted out and raced wide approaching the home turn. Peaky Blazer checked off Indy Ghost on the home turn. Weblec Scout checked off Peaky Blazer on the home turn.
